South Whitehall Township VINetching – Free & Open to the Public

The Lehigh County Auto Theft Task Force will hold a free VINetching event at the 5th Annual South Whitehall Township National Night Out.
VINetching is the process by which a car’s vehicle identification number (VIN) is “tattooed” onto all of the windows. This deters thieves from stealing the car because if they were to try to resell it, they’d have to replace all of the glass on the vehicle. The process takes about 15 minutes.
All township residents and community members are welcome to attend this FREE event! The National Night Out event will also include crime prevention information and activities for children and families, food, giveaways, and a special appearance from the Lehigh Valley Zoo.
