- The Pennsylvania Auto Theft Prevention Authority & Erie Police Department are offering FREE Heavy Equipment Identification and Theft Training on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.This program will feature classroom instruction and a site visit to a heavy equipment dealer for hands-on learning. Instructors will be experienced investigators from the PSP Western Auto Theft Task Force.Attendees will learn how to recognize and investigate the theft of heavy equipment and how to locate and recover identifying characteristics on heavy equipment.*25 Seats Available. Registration is on a first registered, first accepted basis*
