The theft of guns from cars is a pattern that the ATPA hears about all too often. Executive Director Steven Wheeler was interviewed on the importance of safe storage of guns in vehicles.

“If you must leave your weapon in your vehicle, lock your car and take the keys with you. It might sound like common sense, but almost half of stolen vehicles had keys left in the car,” said Wheeler.
