abc27 – “Puffers” learning their lesson the hard way

“Puffers” are cars left running and unattended to warm up in cold weather, ie. puffing (exhaust visible in cold air). Car owners who leave their cars running and unattended are vulnerable to citations and theft. It is illegal to leave your car running, unattended, and unlocked.
